Police Officer Seriously Injured in Vehicular Ramming Attack on Route 443

IDF forces neutralized a terrorist following a vehicular ramming attack near the Maccabim checkpoint on Route 443 in the West Bank. A police officer in his 40s was seriously injured in the incident.
According to preliminary reports, the terrorist drove his vehicle toward a Shai District police patrol car, hitting the crew member. Security forces stationed at the scene opened fire and eliminated the attacker.
Paramedics from Magen David Adom, alongside military medical teams, provided emergency treatment to the seriously injured officer before evacuating him to a hospital.
The attack comes three days after a deadly shooting at the Ein Riyah spring in the Binyamin region, which claimed the life of 48-year-old Netanel Shukron from Alei Zahav.
