Damian Lillard Praises Deni Avdija Ahead of the New NBA Season
NBA legend Damian Lillard praised Israeli star Deni Avdija and new teammate Ja Morant during the Portland Trail Blazers media day ahead of the upcoming season.
Yesterday (Tuesday), NBA media day took place, including for the home team of Deni Avdija: the Portland Trail Blazers. Amid interviews ahead of the new season, the Israeli star received high praise from an NBA legend.
NBA legend Damian Lillard, entering his 15th season and returning from injury, was asked about his expected partnership with Avdija and new signing Ja Morant.
"If I get the ball and pass the ball to Ja Morant, I feel pretty good about it, and if I pass the ball to Deni Avdija, I feel good about it," Lillard said. The veteran point guard added he expects the same trust in return when they drive and kick out to him for three-pointers.
