Likud Submits Full Candidate List for 26th Knesset With Netanyahu on Top
Likud submitted its full candidate list for the 26th Knesset to the Central Elections Committee, completing the slate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will run with. The list reflects last month’s primaries, district representatives and Netanyahu’s reserved placements, with several sitting ministers placed far down.

Likud filed with the Central Elections Committee on Tuesday (the third day of the week) its complete slate of candidates for the 26th Knesset, officially completing the picture of the list Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will run with in the upcoming election.
Final slate includes primary results and Netanyahu’s reserved spots
The final list includes the results of primaries held last month, representatives of districts, and commitments for representation, alongside reserved placements set by Likud chairman Netanyahu. Netanyahu tops the list, followed by Eli Cohen, Amir Ohana, Yariv Levin, Miri Regev, Israel Katz and Gideon Sa’ar. Among the new and notable high placements are Talik Guayli in ninth place, Yaakov Bardugo in 11th, Elisha Medan in 15th and David Petter in 16th.
Sitting ministers pushed down; Knesset member Afif Abd at 76th
A look further down the list shows the scale of the shake-up among some current Likud ministers and Knesset members. Mai Golan, a minister who served in the outgoing Knesset and in the government, was pushed to 40th place. Environmental Protection Minister Idith Silman was placed only at 46th, while Minister Avi Dichter fell to 48th. The primaries results already indicated that the three would struggle to reach realistic spots, and after reserved placements and representation commitments were added, they remained far from the top of the list.
The lowest placement among sitting Knesset members is Knesset member Afif Abd, who is listed only in 76th place. In a typical political scenario, that would be far from a realistic path into the next Knesset. Abd competed in the primaries in the national list, and his name now appears deep in the second half of Likud’s slate.
Other familiar figures placed relatively low
Several other well-known Knesset members and ministers also found themselves in relatively low positions: Kati Shitrit at 44th, Ariel Kalner at 47th, Sasson Guetta at 49th and Shalom Danino at 50th. The primaries results already pointed to a significant drop for some of them compared with their placement on the previous list.

The list was submitted after weeks of internal struggles within Likud over the results of the primaries, representation commitments and, above all, the reserved placements given to Netanyahu. Now that it has been filed with the Central Elections Committee, this is the list Likud’s ruling party is expected to take into the campaign for the 26th Knesset.
