Five new books entered the charts this week. Six out of the ten best-selling books are non-fiction, with half reflecting the spirit of the times and focusing on the hot topic of the moment: the election campaign.

Ari Shavit spent about 140 hours in conversation with Naftali Bennett, resulting in the book "Bennett - Hour of Truth," where Bennett lays out his philosophy. In "The Generals' Revolt," Erez Tadmor attempts to decipher the systemic failure that led to October 7, and in "The Israeli Potential," venture capitalist Yehuda Taub explores how to improve systems in Israel to make them more efficient and profitable.

It is expected that over the next two months, we will see many more books attempting to explain how to make the Zionist project better, smarter, and more efficient. While these books may be purchased in large numbers, their contribution is likely to remain limited to decorating bookshelves.
