The Yashar party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, is rising not only in the polls but also in the volume of donations and guarantees. The party has so far raised 26 loan guarantees totaling 15.56 million shekels. In addition, it has received 225 donations totaling 1.63 million shekels. Upon submitting its lists to the Central Elections Committee, the party will be able to receive a loan from the Knesset of up to 18.35 million shekels, subject to the presentation of bank guarantees.
Among the new guarantees from this past weekend:
-
Major General (res.) Amiram Levin from Caesarea provided a guarantee of 1 million shekels.
-
Gideon Argov from Tel Aviv provided a guarantee of 1 million shekels.
-
High-tech entrepreneur Eyal Dagan provided a guarantee of 670,000 shekels.
In recent polls, "Yashar Le-Israel" led by Eisenkot stands at 23 mandates. If the polls materialize, the election funding it will receive from the state will be 42.2 million shekels (the election funding unit stands at 1.83 million shekels).
The "Achdut" party led by Gilad Erdan raised 3 guarantees totaling about 1 million shekels, including a 200,000 shekel guarantee from MK Yuli Edelstein, 250,000 shekels from Avinoam Erdan, and 600,000 shekels from Yitzhak Rozman. The party has raised 9 donations totaling 107,500 shekels, but in recent polls, it is achieving only 1% of the votes and is not passing the electoral threshold. Erdan is running through the traditional "shelf" party "Ahiezer".
