Netanyahu's 'armored' candidate breaks silence: 'Why not show some support?'

Businessman and Benjamin Netanyahu's first 'armored' candidate, Oren Dubronsky, responded last night (between Tuesday and Wednesday) to the many reactions he received following his entry into politics. After thanking the thousands who congratulated him, he fired back at critics:

'If this is how you treat newcomers, why exactly should good people make this sacrifice for you and for the future of your children here?'

Dubronsky later expressed hope that other businessmen and entrepreneurs would also choose to enter political life, and emphasized: 'I am here to build and fix what needs fixing. Our wonderful country is very precious and worth fighting for.'

Dubronsky sharply criticized his opponents: 'People here are constantly complaining that there are too many political operators in politics, and then when someone successful from the business world arrives who makes a huge personal sacrifice, you immediately look for ways to crucify him?'

According to him, 'It's fine, I understand that you don't agree with my opinions, but come on, a little statesmanship. A little patience, a little class, why not show support even when it's not on your political side? Don't worry, I promise you that you will still have plenty of opportunities to disagree with me.'
