Reality star on her relationship with Maccabi Tel Aviv player: "The right person"

It seems that the connection between Dana Ben Ari, an alumna of the reality show "New Love" on Reshet 13, and Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball player Amit Abo is no longer at the stage where one needs to look for clues. The two continue to share glimpses into their relationship on social media, and this time the messages were particularly clear.
Ben Ari posted a series of photos in her stories, one of which shows the two kissing—though Dana chose to partially obscure the image. Later, she shared a photo of Abo bringing her a bouquet of flowers, writing: "I love you. The right person, with whom there is peace." In another photo, Ben Ari is seen drinking coffee while wearing a Maccabi Tel Aviv shirt, with the caption: "May it never end."
Explaining what makes someone "the right person," Ben Ari wrote:
"I think the right person doesn't make you live in uncertainty. With him, there is peace! Not because there are no challenges, but because there is communication, respect, and mutual choice every single day."
She added that true love is not just "butterflies in the stomach," but feeling safe, being yourself without effort, and knowing that there is someone beside you who adds to your life rather than taking away your peace.
At the same time, Abo published a very personal post summarizing a difficult four-month period. The basketball player wrote about "pain, confusion, and uncertainty" while dealing with an injury and the transition from living abroad to life in Israel. However, he noted:
"Within all this period, I was also lucky to find peace. It is about a person who reminded me that you don't always have to fight everything, and that it is precisely peace that can give you the strength to become the best version of yourself."
Abo concluded with words that take on additional meaning against the backdrop of the relationship reveal: "I am still on the way. Still learning. But one thing I know for sure: everything I went through did not weaken me. It prepared me for what is coming now."
