Channel 16 expands reach: Now available on FreeTV platform
The new news channel, anchored by Yaakov Eilon, has signed a cooperation agreement with FreeTV and is now available to the platform's subscribers.
Channel 16, the new news channel that recently went on air in Israel, announced on Sunday that it continues to expand its presence on television screens by joining FreeTV. The channel will now be available to the platform's subscribers on channel 16, opening its content to additional audiences.
Channel 16 is currently also broadcast on Cellcom TV, which has approximately 275,000 subscribers. Joining FreeTV marks another step in expanding the channel's reach and exposure.
At the same time, the channel can be watched live through its official website. In addition, Channel 16 operates the SAY16 system, based on artificial intelligence, through which viewers can provide feedback and influence various decisions regarding the channel's content, from program types and genres to the structure of the broadcast schedule.
In recent weeks, the channel, where the main news edition is anchored by the legendary Yaakov Eilon, announced that it continues to build its news department. The channel confirmed the addition of Alexandra Lukash and Rotem Golan, two experienced and respected journalists, to its growing news staff as it aims to build a winning team.
