Kfar Giladi Quarries Secures Qaddirim Tender for 24 Years
Kfar Giladi Quarries secured the Qaddirim quarry tender for 24 years, ensuring a 40-million-ton raw material reserve and supporting northern infrastructure projects.

Kfar Giladi Quarries CEO Eran Schechtman announced that winning the tender for the Qaddirim quarry secures raw material supplies for decades. The partnership between Kibbutz Kfar Giladi and the Israel Infrastructure Fund (IIF) ensures robust local production.
Strategic Importance in the North
Schechtman emphasized that local production is crucial for the North, which has faced severe infrastructure challenges and conflicts. Continuous operations act as a direct response to regional threats, fostering economic growth and national resilience.
The experience of the war proved that the raw material industry is not only an economic engine, but also a vital component of national resilience.
Transition from Amiad to Qaddirim
The 24-year operating license for the Qaddirim quarry covers approximately 40 million tons of reserves. This transition follows Kfar Giladi's strategic partnership with IIF in 2022, replacing a previously planned IPO.
Operations at the existing Amiad quarry are slated to conclude by the end of 2027 or upon full readiness at Qaddirim. This ensures uninterrupted supply for major upcoming infrastructure projects in the North, including highway expansions and fortification initiatives.
