The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation is launching the new reality competition "Double on the Money" hosted by Agam Rodberg, where ten pairs will attempt to turn an initial sum of 500 shekels into a much larger fortune. The show will air on Mondays and Wednesdays at 21:30 on Kan 11 and Kan BOX.
As part of the competition, participants will have to multiply their money through business initiatives, creativity, and personal daring. At the end of each task, the pair with the lowest remaining sum will be eliminated, while the challenges become increasingly demanding. The winning couple in the grand finale will take home a prize of about a quarter of a million shekels.
The format is based on a successful British show and is tailored for family viewing, promoting values such as business acumen, teamwork, creativity, composure, and personal courage. The diverse cast of contestants features pairs from various professional and social backgrounds across the country.
