Judith Nir Mozes, a prominent figure in Israeli media, recently opened up during an episode of the Channel 12 reality cooking show "MKR VIP". Known for her extensive career in journalism and broadcasting, Nir Mozes shared a surprising personal story alongside her close friend and co-star Ron Levin.
The Accidental Coming Out on Live Radio
During the conversation, Nir Mozes recalled the moment she inadvertently revealed on live radio that Levin belonged to the LGBTQ+ community. "I discovered to his mother that he is gay," Nir Mozes shared with her fellow contestants.
"At the end, she said: 'Now I am telling everyone good luck because I am going with Ron to the Pride Parade where all his community is.' I was in the closet. My brother called me and said: 'Is there something you want to say?' I said: 'After what was said, what is there to say?'"
Comedian Giah Bar Gorovitz, a star of the satirical show "Eretz Nehederet" who is also competing in the cooking show, praised Nir Mozes's bold move, remarking that she is a true friend who helped Levin embrace his identity.
Comments on Chef Haim Cohen
Nir Mozes also made headlines recently following a candid remark about the physical appearance of celebrity Chef Haim Cohen during the same show. After discussing beauty treatments, the media personality turned to the renowned chef and stated, "One of Haim's advantages is that he is not skinny."
Cohen jokingly asked if she was calling him fat, to which Nir Mozes defended her perspective by explaining that being slightly fuller looks healthier on television than being overly thin.
