Severe Indictment Filed Against Jericho Resident for Years of Domestic Abuse
A Jericho resident faces a severe nine-count indictment for years of systematic abuse against his pregnant wife, including strangulation and threats.

A severe indictment was filed against a resident of Jericho following allegations that he subjected his wife to years of systematic abuse, including strangulation, whipping with an electrical cord, and severe threats. Police noted that some of the violent acts were perpetrated while the victim was pregnant.
The investigation was launched in September after the woman filed a complaint at the Hebron police station, detailing the prolonged abuse she endured. The suspect was apprehended shortly thereafter, and his remand was periodically extended. An indictment, alongside a request for detention until the end of legal proceedings, was officially submitted.
According to the charges, the defendant repeatedly assaulted his victim over the years, occasionally employing makeshift weapons such as an electrical cord. In another instance, he threatened her life while brandishing an object that appeared to be a handgun.
The investigation also revealed that the man exercised strict control, restricting her freedom of movement. He reportedly confiscated her identity card, mobile phone, and credit card to prevent her from leaving their home.
The collected evidence culminated in an indictment comprising nine counts, including aggravated assault, general assault offenses, threats, and violation of legal orders.
