Stylist Claims Janet Jackson's Super Bowl Scandal Was Planned
Janet Jackson's former stylist claims her 2004 Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction was a planned stunt, challenging Justin Timberlake to reveal the truth.

Two decades after the infamous 2004 Super Bowl halftime show, key figures are shedding new light on the incident that rocked American television. Wayne Scott Lucas, Janet Jackson's former stylist, claims the exposure of her breast on stage was a planned stunt rather than a wardrobe malfunction.
Speaking to TMZ Live, Lucas asserted that the outfit performed precisely as designed. He challenged Justin Timberlake to reveal the truth in his upcoming documentary in December. For years, Jackson maintained the incident was accidental, while Lucas insists the original plan was to reveal her backside, supported by a pair of thong underwear he brought as evidence.
According to Lucas, the concept was escalated days before the performance to expose her chest instead. He places the blame on the production team for failing to cut the camera feed as planned, which led to the broadcast scandal that severely damaged Jackson's career. Lucas noted that Timberlake never apologized to him, though he now only expects the singer to acknowledge the true nature of the event.
