Ami Yogev, a 46-year-old from Modiin, has been missing since last Sunday in the Mount Olympus region of Greece, with search efforts continuing today under challenging weather conditions.
Magnus International Search and Rescue announced that it has deployed a specialized team to the area in coordination with the family and local authorities. The rescue delegation includes two field and crisis management experts alongside a professional drone operator.
Search operations have been narrowed down to two main locations on the mountain. Rescuers are working closely with a local tour guide who last saw Yogev, and authorities have identified the exact spot from which he sent his final photograph before communication ceased.
Yogev arrived in Greece about two weeks ago to climb Mount Olympus. His rental car was later discovered in a parking lot near the mountain, and local police and rescue teams continue their efforts.
