2 Million Shekel Investment: Gordon Tourism Group Enters New Market Segment
Gordon Tourism Group has announced a partnership with international shipping company Transcend Cruises. The group will lead event production and marketing on board river vessels for both Israeli and international clients.
Gordon Tourism Group has announced a new partnership with the international shipping company Transcend Cruises, backed by an investment of approximately 2 million shekels. This move marks the company's expansion into the field of conferences, corporate events, and weddings hosted on board river vessels.
As part of the collaboration, Gordon Group will lead the marketing and production of events for both the Israeli public and the international market. The focus will be on business conferences, corporate events, incentive trips, product launches, and private celebrations. According to the company, this concept is designed to meet the needs of the MICE market (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions), which is currently a primary growth engine in the tourism industry.
Transcend Cruises specializes in river vessels specifically designed for hosting events, distinguishing them from traditional cruise ships. Each vessel can accommodate up to 120 guests and offers highly customizable spaces. Amenities include an amphitheater with a large screen for presentations, modular meeting rooms, a multi-purpose hall, a sun deck with event-branding capabilities, as well as a spa complex and a gym.

Simultaneously, Gordon Tourism Group is launching a festive cruise to Europe featuring Hani Nahmias and Yehuda Elias, who will lead Rosh Hashanah celebrations on the Rhine. The eight-day cruise, departing September 9, will include a rich cultural program alongside visits to picturesque towns in Germany, France, and the Netherlands.
