Commentator on the Arab world, Dr. Eddie Cohen, addressed today, Tuesday, the campaign that, according to him, is being conducted in the Arab world against the Likud party and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In an interview on the "Noon Journal" program, he claimed: "They want to bring down the Right."
Cohen began his remarks regarding the elections for the Likud list held last night: "The Likud voter determined the list. There are those who are disappointed and there are those who are less so, but we need to think about the day after the primaries in the Likud party." According to him, this is not an Israeli event but one that affects the Arab world: "Unfortunately, Arab countries have launched a campaign against the Prime Minister and against the Likud.
"They want to bring down the Prime Minister – not to bring him down personally or the Likud. In Arab countries, they think they can create a domino effect: if they bring down the PM, the Likud will collapse. If they crush the Likud – they will crush the Right – and that already leads the country to the Left and to a Palestinian state," explained Cohen.
