The musical map in Israel is recording a new peak, and Eden Hason proves once again unequivocally that he is the undisputed king of the industry. With approximately 808.6 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, Hason bypasses with an impressive gap the prominent names in the field, including Osher Cohen and Odya (767.8 thousand each), Eden Ben Zaken (709 thousand), and even Eyal Golan (666.6 thousand).

This absolute lead comes thanks to a sequence of mega-hits: the song "Eich She-Hi Rokedet" ("How She Dances") has maintained stability at the top of the charts for a month and a half, and the single "Kuli Tfila" ("I Am All Prayer") conquered the top spot on YouTube's trending list within just 24 hours.

When diving into the financial translation of these data, it turns out that this is an economic mechanism. Spotify pays on average between 0.003 and 0.004 dollars per stream (about 11 to 15 shekels for every 1,000 streams), while YouTube pays slightly lower amounts, usually ranging from 1 to 2 dollars for every thousand views based on advertising models.

Since the "monthly listeners" metric represents unique users only, those 808.6 thousand monthly listeners actually generate tens of millions of cumulative streams per month throughout Hason's entire catalog. This means that direct streams on digital platforms alone yield an estimated monthly income of tens of thousands of shekels from streaming royalties.

However, in the Israeli music industry, direct profits from streaming royalties are only a small part of the overall economic picture. The impressive data on Spotify and YouTube serve primarily as the most accurate real-time indicator of audience demand, and Hason's undisputed control at the top is translated into huge profits in the truly profitable arenas: performances in giant halls, private events, weddings, and corporate gigs. The status of "king" of streaming allows charging tens of thousands of dollars for a single performance, alongside prestigious advertising contracts and sponsorships, so that the digital achievement becomes a salary engine that brings in millions of shekels a year.
