IDF forces struck earlier today (Sunday) in the Khan Yunis area of the southern Gaza Strip, eliminating Maad Gamal Abu Nassira, a commander in the military wing of the Hamas terror organization. The operation was carried out as part of security forces' ongoing efforts to target the terrorist organization's command chain in the Strip and remove immediate threats.

In an additional strike carried out yesterday (Saturday), IDF forces eliminated from the air Mahmoud Ibrahim Dib Alyan, a terrorist in the observation array of the Hamas terror organization. Recently, the terrorist was identified advancing terror plots against IDF forces in the Yellow Line area, working to rehabilitate the organization's capabilities while systematically violating the ceasefire agreement.

The military emphasized that prior to the strikes, various measures were taken to minimize civilian harm, including the use of precise munitions and continuous aerial surveillance. IDF forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate with force and determination to remove any immediate threat to our forces and state security.
