The IDF and Shin Bet announced that two operatives involved in weapon smuggling were killed in Khan Yunis.
The strike targeted Basil Nabil Abd al-Rahman Qishta and Ahmed Raja al-Shaer, who managed weapon procurement and smuggling into the Gaza Strip. Security officials stated the operation aimed to remove threats against Israeli citizens and IDF troops.
Precautions were taken prior to the strike to minimize civilian casualties, including aerial surveillance and precision munitions. Southern Command forces continue operating in the area to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and prevent military buildup.
