IDF to Conduct Controlled Blasts on Lebanese Front Amid High Alert
Security forces announced controlled explosions along the Lebanese front as Israel maintains high alert. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed at the Western Wall that Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons.
Northern authorities and the Upper Galilee Regional Council announced that security forces will conduct controlled explosions and strikes along the Lebanese front. Residents were informed that blasts will echo across the region, particularly in the central Upper Galilee, Ramim Ridge, Hula Valley, and the Golan Heights, though home front instructions remain unchanged.
Simultaneously, the security establishment maintains high alert across all sectors—including Lebanon, the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank. Defense officials stressed that Israel will take no risks and will respond forcefully to any aggression.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed regional developments during a visit to the Western Wall ahead of Rosh Hashanah. "US President Donald Trump announced tonight that Iran is attempting to rearm with nuclear weapons, and that is correct. After we dismantled their immediate capability to produce nuclear bombs, they are trying again. I pledge to you here at the Western Wall: as long as I am Prime Minister, Iran will not have nuclear weapons," Netanyahu stated.
The Prime Minister further emphasized ongoing offensive operations against Tehran's proxies in the region, noting heavy strikes in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, including the destruction of the Beaufort Ridge and current operations targeting the Ali Taher Ridge.
