Idan Amedi changes direction: details of his new project
After two extremely busy years, a serious injury in the Gaza Strip, and a successful rehabilitation, Idan Amedi reveals his next project, which will hit the stage as early as next month in Tel Aviv.

Following sold-out concert tours and moving performances over the last two years, singer and songwriter Idan Amedi announces a new step in his career. Amedi will soon launch "Karov" ("Close"), an intimate and acoustic show based on a refined combination of guitar, piano, and his recognizable voice. The show offers a return to the most primary and exposed elements of creation, with the goal of creating a direct, immediate, and personal encounter with the audience.
The new series of performances will take place during September 2026 at the Expo Theater in Tel Aviv. Tickets will be available to the general public starting Thursday, August 13, at 12:00 PM via the "Kupat Tel Aviv" website.
This announcement follows an extremely busy and significant period for Amedi, who continues to establish his status as one of the leading and most beloved artists in Israel. Alongside the new acoustic show, Amedi is performing at major summer venues, including the Arad Festival, where he will host Yuval Dayan, and the Hutzot HaYotzer Festival in Jerusalem. In addition, he has been chosen to take part in the prestigious cast of the "NEXT" show planned for the upcoming Hanukkah, alongside leading names such as Omer Adam, Osher Cohen, and Rita.
Since his breakthrough in 2010 on the program "Kochav Nolad" with the hit "Ke'ev Shel Lochamim" ("Pain of Warriors"), Amedi has built a rich career including gold albums, "Singer of the Year" titles, and a successful acting role in the series "Fauda". Over the past year, Amedi has become a symbol of spirit and hope after being seriously wounded during reserve service in the Combat Engineering Corps in the Gaza Strip, undergoing an inspiring rehabilitation process, and now returning in full force to the stage and to his craft.
