The Israel Securities Authority has temporarily rescued Israel Aerospace Industries from a legal deadlock that threatened its capital market status, granting an extension until April 2027 to repay its 154 million shekel bond series.

The decision gives IAI, the Government Companies Authority, and the Ministries of Justice and Defense time to resolve the issue of compensatory disclosure to investors. The company is restricted from releasing sensitive security data due to statutory confidentiality orders.

With the December 1 repayment deadline looming and the Justice Department delayed in issuing a ruling, the Securities Authority stepped in to prevent market disruption. Officials warned that losing reporting status would severely hinder IAI's upcoming stock offering and financing efforts.
