Holon police arrested a 44-year-old man and seized over 20 kilograms of suspected marijuana and cannabis oil during a raid on an apartment used for drug distribution.
Holon police arrested a 44-year-old northern resident after seizing over 20 kilograms of suspected marijuana and half a kilogram of cannabis oil during a raid on an apartment.
The operation was conducted by detectives from the Holon police station in the Ayalon region, alongside detectives from the Tel Aviv district light rail unit. Law enforcement forces staked out the apartment early Tuesday morning following intelligence that it was being used as a distribution hub for narcotics.
During the raid, officers detained a suspect entering the premises. A subsequent judicial search of the apartment uncovered more than 20 kilograms of suspected marijuana pre-packaged into individual doses, alongside over 500 grams of suspected cannabis oil.
Authorities also confiscated digital scales, mobile phones, and a scooter reportedly used to traffic the illicit substances. The suspect was transferred to the Holon station for questioning, and police intend to request a court extension of his detention.
