Halle Berry Claims Instagram Hack in Bitter Custody Battle With Martinez
Halle Berry claims her Instagram account was hacked after a pointed post about fathers appeared and was quickly deleted amid her ongoing custody battle with Olivier Martinez.

The bitter custody battle between Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry and her ex-partner, actor Olivier Martinez, has taken a new turn after a controversial Instagram story appeared on Berry's official account. As the former couple fights over custody of their 13-year-old son, Maceo, a post surfaced suggesting that a child's lack of respect for a mother often stems from their relationship with the father.
The story was quickly deleted, but Martinez and his legal team moved swiftly to use it as legal ammunition. Berry, who is 59, claims her account was hacked and that she had nothing to do with the post. However, Martinez's attorney, Patrick Baghdassarian, immediately petitioned the court to reopen the evidentiary phase of the trial to cross-examine Berry, arguing the post violated a temporary restraining order.
Berry's attorney, Marina Beck, fiercely pushed back against the motion, dismissing it as a desperate witch hunt and a publicity stunt designed to promote a false narrative. The presiding judge ultimately rejected Martinez's request to admit the deleted post into evidence. This latest clash is part of an ongoing legal war that has previously involved serious allegations, though the court continues to navigate the complex family dynamics behind closed doors.
