Tom Haimov and Shahar Chernes Celebrate Henna Ceremony After Wedding Delay
Reality TV stars Tom Haimov and Shahar Chernes celebrated their traditional Henna ceremony. The pre-wedding event was previously postponed due to security tensions with Iran and personal setbacks.

Reality TV stars Tom Haimov (38) and Shahar Chernes (27) celebrated their traditional Henna ceremony on Sunday evening, marking a major milestone ahead of their upcoming wedding later this month.
Following months of anticipation, stress, and unexpected disruptions caused by the security situation with Iran, the couple finally held the traditional pre-wedding event, cementing their relationship of over two years.
Love on Screen
The couple first met in front of the cameras during the previous season of the reality show New Love (Ahava Hadasha), where sparks flew instantly. In July last year, after a year and a half of dating, Haimov surprised Chernes with a romantic marriage proposal. However, their journey to the canopy proved to be highly turbulent.
A Series of Unfortunate Events
The original wedding was scheduled for late March at "HaGiva" venue in Givat Brenner, with hundreds of guests invited. However, the military escalation with Iran disrupted their plans. Due to security concerns, the couple was forced to cancel their original Henna celebration, and two weeks later, they announced the postponement of the main wedding.
In addition to the national security crisis, the couple faced several personal challenges:
-
Shortly before the original wedding date, Haimov suffered a severe leg injury after colliding with a glass door, severing an artery.
-
Just a day before the security escalation, the couple moved to a new apartment, which turned into a chaotic moving experience.
-
During the move, their beloved cat Oscar escaped, prompting an agonizing search before he was safely found.
This chain of setbacks led the couple to take some time to breathe. Now that the storm has passed, they have set their final wedding date for September 22.
