Tom Haimov and Shahar Chernes Celebrate Henna After War Delays
Reality stars Tom Haimov and Shahar Chernes celebrated their traditional Henna ceremony ahead of their rescheduled September 22 wedding, following delays caused by security tensions with Iran.

Reality TV stars Tom Haimov (38) and Shahar Chernes (27) celebrated their traditional Henna ceremony on Sunday evening at the Q Gallery Rothschild 19 club, co-owned by Tom, surrounded by family and close friends.
After long months of waiting, stress, and forced changes in plans due to the military escalation with Iran, the couple finally held the traditional pre-wedding event. The two have been together for over two years, having first met in front of the cameras during the previous season of the reality show Ahava Hadasha (New Love), where sparks flew instantly.
A Challenging Journey to the Canopy
Last July, after a year and a half of a highly photogenic relationship, Haimov surprised Chernes with a romantic marriage proposal. However, their path to the wedding canopy was far from smooth, involving numerous disruptions.
The original wedding was scheduled for late March at "HaGiva" event venue in Givat Brenner, with hundreds of guests invited. However, the military escalation with Iran disrupted all plans. Due to the sensitive security situation, the couple was forced to cancel their original Henna event, and nearly two weeks later, they announced the postponement of the main wedding.
Personal Hurdles Amid National Tension
The security situation was accompanied by several challenging personal events:
-
Shortly before the original wedding date, Haimov was injured after colliding with a glass door, severing an artery in his leg.
-
Just a day before the military escalation began, the couple moved to a new apartment, which turned into a highly stressful relocation experience.
-
During the move, their beloved cat Oscar escaped, prompting hours of frantic searching before he was finally found.
This chain of unfortunate events led the couple to realize they needed time to breathe. Now that the storms have settled, they have set their final wedding date for September 22.
