Following this, the case was transferred to the investigation unit of the Kiryat Gat station and the Southern District intelligence, who conducted a covert investigation using various intelligence, technological, and forensic resources.
During a joint operation with the assistance of special units, one of the suspects was arrested in a hideout apartment within the city. Subsequently, the second suspect was located, and an electric scooter, believed to have been used during the shooting, was seized.
Both suspects have been taken to the Kiryat Gat station for questioning. The investigation remains ongoing with the goal of identifying all involved parties and bringing them to justice.
