Gett is rolling out a new safety zone feature within its application to enhance passenger security across all 50 countries where the service operates, including Israel. The updated interface centralizes three essential tools during a trip: real-time route sharing, safety event reporting, and direct emergency dialing.

Passengers can now share live tracking links with family or friends, displaying vehicle details, driver information, and estimated arrival times. Additionally, the app features an automated emergency button adapted to the local jurisdiction of each country, ensuring rapid access to police services.

The safety reporting tool leverages artificial intelligence to classify passenger complaints in real time, routing them based on urgency levels. Users can report reckless driving, speeding, mobile phone usage, or inappropriate behavior directly through the platform.

Mark One, CEO of Gett, stated that the new tools were developed following extensive consumer research. Trust remains a core component of the user experience, and enhancing digital security measures aims to provide passengers with greater control throughout their journey.
