Gantz Expected to Demand Presidential Run Support in Exchange for Withdrawal
Blue and White leader Benny Gantz may condition his withdrawal from the upcoming Knesset elections on securing backing for a future presidential run ahead of his meeting with Gadi Eisenkot.

Blue and White chairman and opposition leader Benny Gantz is expected to condition his withdrawal from the upcoming Knesset elections on receiving support for a future presidential run, according to Israel Hayom.
Ahead of a meeting between Gantz and Yashar! party leader Gadi Eisenkot at Kfar Maccabiah, reports indicate that the primary topic will focus on preventing the fragmentation of centrist votes. However, a major obstacle remains the unpredictable outcome of the elections and whether another political round might render Gantz's current calculations irrelevant.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with KAN 11, Gantz revealed that he had been approached with an offer for a high-profile reserved slot on the Likud party list, which he ultimately rejected. While Likud officially denied the outreach, sources confirmed that the party conducted internal polling regarding potential high-level placements.
