Gal Rubin became one of the most talked-about figures in the last season of Big Brother, following a turbulent period in the house that ended in a major victory. Now, about a month and a half after the season finale, she is taking a break and using the time for a vacation.

Rubin, who is undoubtedly considered one of the most controversial contestants ever on the show, is also remembered for her appearance on Survivor about three years ago. Later, she was in a relationship with The Amazing Race contestant Modi Spuri, and during that time, she was identified with public statements against glass ceilings, racism, and forbidden love.

After the relationship ended, it was claimed that there was a shift in the positions she expressed, and in the Big Brother episodes, she spoke out against assimilation. In a report about her in Israel Hayom, it was written that "it seems she joined Lehava to atone for her actions" — this followed a widespread public storm that began to swirl around her.

Now, after the period spent in the Big Brother house and her big win, Rubin is taking a break from the drama. According to Walla Celebs, she was spotted spending time in a swimsuit by a pool during a vacation on the Sinai Peninsula.

Rubin, along with several friends, headed south and crossed the Israeli border into Egypt, where she is spending the coming days resting. In the published photos, she is seen enjoying herself mainly by the pool.
