Gal Gvaram Slams Body-Shamers After Bikini Photo Sparks Backlash
Israeli influencer Gal Gvaram hit back at online body-shamers after posting a bikini photo. The 25-year-old reality star opened up about her past eating disorders and declared she is proud of her body at any weight.

Israeli reality TV star and influencer Gal Gvaram (25) hit back at social media critics after a photo she posted over the weekend sparked intense body-shaming. The image, showing her sitting in a driver's seat in a yellow bikini while brushing her teeth during a night at the beach, quickly became the center of online discussion.
On Sunday evening, Gvaram decided to address the backlash directly on her Instagram account:
"This world is messed up. Why is it that when I look hot to you, I'm labeled cheap and provocative, but when I'm just comfortable with how I look, you have comments about my body?"
Overcoming Eating Disorders
Reflecting on her past struggles when she weighed only 40 kilograms, Gvaram addressed the double standards of online commentators:
"When I was thin, it was terrible (and I think so too), and now when a little belly shows, people ask how I dare upload this. If it's always 'how do you dare,' then none of it matters anymore. I feel great, and this is what a body that has been through a lot looks like. I'll pass on going back to 40 kg—if I want to eat something, I will eat it. You can keep your opinions to yourselves, and I'll stay with my eating disorders."
This confrontation follows a long period during which Gvaram stayed out of the spotlight to focus on her mental health, struggles she has discussed openly. Over the past year, as she recently shared, her life has been getting back on track, including spending time on the beaches of Thailand. She concluded her post with a self-affirming message: "You are worth a lot, Ms. Gal, at any weight."
