Gal Gadot has achieved another international milestone as her new action thriller, The Runner, ranked fourth on the global streaming viewership list compiled by the Hollywood Reporter. This follows its strong performance in Israel, where it climbed to second place on the Amazon Prime Video charts.

The high ranking provides the film with significant exposure, proving its ability to capture audiences beyond the standard platform subscribers. This success is particularly notable given the fierce weekly competition among major streaming releases.

Directed by Academy Award winner Kevin Macdonald, known for One Day in September, the 84-minute film was produced for Amazon MGM Studios and released in early September. Alongside Gadot, the film stars British actor Damian Lewis, following a London defense lawyer whose life unravels during a morning run when she receives a call demanding she follow dangerous instructions to save her kidnapped son.

Despite mixed or negative reviews from some film critics, viewership data tells a different story as audiences propel the film to the top. For Gadot, this serves as further proof of her enduring international appeal in a gripping action feature.
