Elon Musk leads the declines, losing 37.1 billion dollars in a single week, yet he comfortably retains the number one spot with a personal fortune estimated at 990.9 billion dollars.
Jeff Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon, maintains the second position on the global wealth list despite shedding 5.2 billion dollars, bringing his total net worth down to an estimated 373.4 billion dollars.
Larry Page, co-founder of Google, secured the third spot. He also recorded notable weekly losses of 1.8 billion dollars, leaving his personal wealth standing at 285.4 billion dollars.
Michael Dell, founder of Dell Technologies, followed in fourth place after losing a massive 4.0 billion dollars this week. Despite the steep decline, he remains firmly in the top five with a remaining net worth of 278.3 billion dollars.
Closing out the top five richest people this week according to Forbes is fellow Google co-founder Sergey Brin. Although he lost 1.7 billion dollars over the week, he managed to hold onto fifth place just ahead of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who was pushed out of the elite group. Brin's fortune currently stands at 262.7 billion dollars, roughly 15.0 billion dollars ahead of Zuckerberg.
