New Food Products Hit Israeli Shelves: From Premium Hummus to High-ABV Beers
Israel's food market sees a surge of new product launches, including high-protein yogurts, single-origin Turkish coffee, high-ABV beers, and specialized air fryer foods.

A wave of new food products is hitting supermarket shelves, ranging from premium hummus and high-ABV beers to protein-packed yogurts and specialized air fryer french fries. Major Israeli food brands are expanding their portfolios to meet shifting consumer demands for convenience, high protein, and unique culinary experiences.
Hummus Goes Supermarket Premium
Achla is launching "HaHumusia shel Achla", a new chilled hummus designed to replicate the taste and texture of fresh hummus served in traditional eateries, but packaged for the retail market. The packaging features a distinct design inspired by local hummus spots. The company recommends serving the hummus on a plate with olive oil, chopped parsley, and fresh pita.
High-ABV Beers Arrive for Oktoberfest
Ahead of Oktoberfest, Dutch beer brand Oranjeboom is bringing its high-ABV lager series to Israel, offering alcohol levels rarely seen in the local market: 10%, 12%, and 16%. Premium Extra Strong features 10% alcohol with a full body and moderate bitterness; Super Strong at 12% combines malty sweetness with a pronounced alcohol presence; and Mega Strong reaches 16% alcohol with a full body, sweetness, and a long finish. The series is certified kosher by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.
Single-Origin Turkish Coffee
Elite Turkish Coffee is introducing a limited-edition "Origins Series" featuring two varieties based on bean origin: 100% Brazil and 100% Guatemala. Both come in single-serve portions and blend Arabica and Robusta beans with a medium roast. The Brazilian version utilizes beans grown at altitudes up to 1,400 meters, offering chocolatey and nutty flavors with a full, aromatic profile. The Guatemalan version features beans grown at up to 1,900 meters in volcanic soil, delivering a rich body, cereal notes, and subtle acidity.
High Protein, Single Ingredient
Tnuva's GO brand is expanding its protein yogurt lineup with a new natural yogurt containing 20 grams of protein and a single ingredient: milk. The yogurt has a thick texture without added flavors and carries the Israeli Ministry of Health's Green Label. According to Tnuva, the enriched protein yogurt category grew by 38% in volume during the first half of 2026 compared to the same period last year, with the plain and natural yogurt segment growing by 37%.
Oktoberfest Sausages and Air Fryer Fries
Zoglovek is launching "The Bavarian", a special edition premium sausage inspired by German bratwurst, featuring a chicken and beef blend seasoned with nutmeg, ginger, and caraway. It will remain on shelves until December or while supplies last. Meanwhile, Milotal is introducing "Air Crunch", a new french fry specifically developed for air fryer preparation, promising a 8-10 minute cooking time using potatoes selected and processed specifically for the appliance.
The Israeli retail food market continues to innovate rapidly, focusing on functional health benefits, nostalgic revivals, and international culinary trends adapted for home preparation.
