Indictment Filed Against Father for Allegedly Abusing Daughter Over Six Years
The State Attorney's Office filed an indictment against a 55-year-old central Israel resident for allegedly raping and abusing his daughter for six years starting at age eight.

The State Attorney's Office filed an indictment on Monday at the Central District Court in Lod against a 55-year-old resident of central Israel, charging him with a series of severe sex offenses allegedly committed against his minor daughter over a period of approximately six years, starting when she was about eight years old.
According to the indictment, filed by attorney Shira Sukchatsky Kfir from the Central District Attorney's Office, the defendant systematically abused his paternal authority to commit sexual offenses against the minor, including rape and indecent acts. The charges further state that on several occasions, the father threatened the victim that if she disclosed the abuse, he would physically harm her.
The indictment charges the defendant with rape of a minor family member, an indecent act by a family member, and additional offenses. The Central District Attorney's Office has requested the court to order the continued detention of the defendant until the conclusion of legal proceedings against him.
