Fighting with all her might: The massive demand from Luka Doncic's ex-fiancée
In the US, it is claimed that Anamaria Goltes withdrew the alimony lawsuit she filed in California, but has now filed a new one in Slovenia, demanding a sum of $50 million, alongside reducing the star's custody time for their shared daughters.
A day after ESPN reported that Anamaria Goltes, Luka Doncic's ex-fiancée, withdrew the alimony lawsuit she filed in California, TMZ claimed this evening (Thursday) that she has initiated a new proceeding in Slovenia, in which she is demanding a sum of $50 million.
According to the report, Goltes is requesting $40 million for herself and an additional $10 million for their two shared daughters. In addition, she is demanding to reduce the custody time of the Los Angeles Lakers star from at least two days a week to just one day.
ESPN reported yesterday that Goltes withdrew the petition she filed in March to the Los Angeles court, in which she requested alimony and reimbursement of legal expenses. In her statement, she wrote that she is doing so with the intention "to resolve the matter in good faith and by mutual agreement, for the benefit of our children."
Goltes resides in Slovenia with the two daughters, two-year-old Gabriela and seven-month-old Olivia. Doncic had already filed a temporary request in February to the court in Slovenia, in which he demanded immediate contact with his daughters as well as a hearing on joint custody and alimony. According to ESPN, the proceeding is still being conducted under the jurisdiction of the courts in Slovenia.
Doncic announced in May that he would stay in Slovenia for the summer and would not join the national team for the World Cup qualifiers, in order to be by his daughters' side while he works to achieve joint custody. Later this month, he is expected to host the Lakers roster in Ljubljana for a four-day training camp.
