Eisenkot Visits Boycotted Tel Aviv Shawarma Stand in Show of Support
Yashar! leader Gadi Eisenkot visited a Tel Aviv shawarma stand to support its owner, Or Ohana, who faced online threats and boycott calls after stating he would not vote for Benjamin Netanyahu.

Yashar! party leader Gadi Eisenkot visited the Shawarma Corner in Tel Aviv's Hatikva Market on Tuesday to support owner Or Ohana, who faced online attacks, threats, and calls for a boycott after expressing his political views.
The controversy began after Ohana, a former Likud voter, stated in an interview that in the upcoming elections he would vote "anything but Bibi." Following his remarks, harsh comments, threats, and calls to boycott his business spread across social media.
Following the visit, Eisenkot published a post on X expressing support for Ohana, writing that after Ohana spoke out against a party refusing to take responsibility for Israel's worst disaster, he became the target of attacks against his business.
Eisenkot noted that during the visit he spoke with Ohana and ate at the establishment, praising the food and describing a heartwarming encounter with a young business owner.
Addressing the broader political discourse ahead of the elections, Eisenkot called for avoiding personal hostility over political disagreements, stating that politics should not be allowed to foster hatred among citizens.
With the elections approaching, Eisenkot encouraged Israelis to continue expressing sharp political opinions and demanding answers from leaders, while maintaining mutual respect.
