Einav Boublil Opens Up About Severe Anxiety and Terrifying Near-Miss Incident
Reality star Einav Boublil opened up about her severe battle with anxiety, sharing how crippling health fears once endangered her toddler daughter's life and how therapy helped her heal.
Einav Boublil opened up about her ongoing battle with severe anxiety, revealing a terrifying moment when she realized her fears were controlling her life. Appearing on Keshet 12's show, Boublil shared that during a period of intense health anxiety, her three-year-old daughter stepped out of a car and ran toward a main road while she walked ahead, completely unaware. A bystander managed to save the child just in time.
"Someone came and saved my child, while I just started walking home and left her like that," Boublil recalled. The harrowing incident occurred during a particularly dark two-week period while she was paralyzed by the fear that she had cancer. After experiencing irregular bleeding and consulting an internet search, she became convinced she had a terminal illness. She recalled telling her husband, "Eli, I am going to die," before suffering a panic attack that sent her to the hospital.
Overcoming Lifelong Fears
During the two-week wait for her medical test results, Boublil said she felt like a living corpse, unable to work, speak, or function. It was only after the near-miss incident with her daughter that her mother firmly intervened, telling her she needed professional help. Boublil also confessed to suffering from other debilitating psychosomatic episodes, including chest pains that lasted for a month and a half because she was too terrified to visit a doctor.
"I hated little, chubby Einav," she confessed, explaining the root of a 26-year habit of pinching herself, which she finally stopped seven months ago after beginning therapy.
Today, Boublil manages her life without medication and has made remarkable progress in confronting her past traumas and childhood insecurities.
