Light Rain Falls in Eilat and Arava as Flash Flood Warning Issued for Sunday

Light rainfall was recorded in Eilat and the southern Arava region, with 2.5 mm falling since Saturday morning. Meteorologists registered another 0.6 mm at Ramon Airport, while intermittent light showers continued across the southern Negev.
Authorities report no immediate risk of flooding or major flash floods for today, though isolated showers may persist through the evening. Forecasters warn that localized flash floods could develop Sunday afternoon and evening, particularly around the Dead Sea and eastern regions.
Temperatures remain slightly above seasonal averages across mountainous and inland areas. Daily forecasts indicate minor temperature fluctuations early in the week, with a slight cooling trend on Monday before warmer conditions return on Tuesday.
