Drama before the primaries: Yariv Levin removed from the recommended list in Hadera?

Political drama in Hadera: In the last few hours, reports circulated in the city's political corridors that the chairman of the Likud branch in Hadera, Shlomo Buzaglo, reached a dramatic agreement with local ultra-Orthodox representatives. According to the reports, the two sides decided to remove Justice Minister Yariv Levin from the branch's list of recommended candidates ahead of the primaries, with the aim of strengthening Minister Eli Cohen and ensuring he secures the top spot.

These reports caused unrest among the movement's activists, as Minister Levin has been considered one of the most respected figures in the local branch for years. However, the branch chairman, Shlomo Buzaglo, did not wait long and issued a sweeping and unequivocal denial, while attacking those who spread the news.

Buzaglo stated in response:

"These are claims that are false at their core. There are small people who are trying to spread false rumors to create cracks within our united movement. These reports have no basis in reality."

Buzaglo emphasized his commitment and that of the city's leadership to the Justice Minister:

"It is important for me to clarify: we, together with the mayor, provide full and unconditional support to Yariv Levin. Yariv is a partner on the path and a man of our trust. We have supported him for many years with loyalty, and we will continue to do so in the future. No such rumor will change the fact that Yariv Levin is our leading recommended candidate."

In Buzaglo's circle, they note that the branch in Hadera is known for its loyalty to Minister Levin and that the attempt to create a "deal" at his expense is a transparent political maneuver by interested parties trying to harm the unity of the ranks in the city.
