Former Maccabi Tel Aviv striker Dor Turgeman continues to shine in the MLS, securing a vital 2-1 away victory for the New England Revolution against the Philadelphia Union and triggering a $500,000 bonus for his former club.

The decisive moment arrived deep into first-half stoppage time during the Matchday 32 fixture. Turgeman reacted quickest to tap in a header from Peyton Miller, marking his 10th league goal of an impressive debut season in the United States.

Carles Gil doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 91st minute before Philadelphia pulled one back in the 12th minute of stoppage time. Turgeman was substituted to a standing ovation in the 92nd minute, while fellow Israeli defender Ilay Feingold played the full 90 minutes. The victory lifts New England to second place in the Eastern Conference and officially clinches a playoff berth.

Lucrative Add-Ons and Transfer Success

Turgeman's transfer from Maccabi Tel Aviv included carefully structured performance bonuses. Reaching the milestone of 10 league goals immediately activates a $500,000 payment to the Israeli club. A further $500,000 bonus awaits should the 22-year-old forward reach 15 goals this season.

With the base transfer fee estimated at $4 to $4.5 million, Maccabi Tel Aviv's total revenue from the deal has now surpassed $5 million, cementing the transfer as one of the most profitable in the club's history.
