Threat Level Raised for Acting Central Election Committee Director Din Livne
Security officials have assigned a personal security detail to acting Central Election Committee Director-General Adv. Din Livne following a property incident, as threat levels rise for key public figures.

Security officials have raised the threat level for Adv. Din Livne, the acting director-general of the Central Election Committee, assigning him a personal security detail. The decision follows a property damage incident outside his home several weeks ago, amid heightened security preparations ahead of the upcoming elections.
This security enhancement follows a similar move in late August, when the police inspector general, Inspector General Danny Levi, reinforced the security detail for Supreme Court Vice President and Central Election Committee Chairman Justice Noam Solberg. That decision was based on threat assessments tied to his sensitive public roles and past incidents near his residence.
Concurrently, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) is deploying a personal security detail for 'Yashar' party leader Gadi Eisenkot. The protective detail will accompany him across his public activities as security services ramp up precautionary measures for key figures.
When approached regarding the security measures for Adv. Livne, the Shin Bet stated that it does not discuss protective arrangements. The Central Election Committee declined to provide a comment on the matter.
