Millions without a reported source: The NGO working to bring voters from abroad

Channel 14 News reported on Wednesday regarding a sponsored social media campaign urging Israelis to pressure those abroad to vote in the elections. The project is backed by an NGO named "Bou" ("Come").

Our correspondent Moti Kastel revealed two years ago how this NGO attempted to influence student union elections. Nearly two million shekels have been transferred to the organization over the years, yet the NGO's documents lack any report on the origin of these funds.

The "Bou" NGO is primarily linked to members of the Democrats party and the "Ha-Halutz" movement, which manages pre-military preparatory institutions and maintains close ties with Democrats figures such as Naama Lazimi and Yaya Fink.

Founders of the NGO include Democrats party activists: Ido Atias, a member of the Be'er Sheva city council, and Shiran Meir, an associate of Naama Lazimi. Additionally, Tomer Meiri, CEO of Yaya Fink's organization 'Ha-Israelim' ('The Israelis'), is involved; this organization has raised millions of shekels for political activities. Some members of the NGO are also paid employees of the 'Ha-Halutz' movement. Sources within the student union have claimed that 'Bou' maintains very close ties with Yaya Fink.

A major concern regarding the conduct of this NGO, as well as Fink's 'Ha-Israelim', is the complete lack of transparency regarding the source and use of funds. Nearly two million shekels flowed into the NGO to influence the student union, and these resources are now being utilized to mobilize voters in national elections. On the NGO's Instagram pages, Yaya Fink can be seen urging voters abroad to participate so that Israel is not left with Netanyahu, Ben Gvir, and Smotrich.

We reached out to the NGO members to inquire about the source of these millions of shekels. Shiran Meir refused to comment to Channel 14. Yaya Fink, Tomer Meiri, Ido Atias, and the NGO's legal advisor, Adv. Ram Pardes, did not respond to our inquiries.
