David Beckham Pulls $51 Million Dividend Following Record World Cup Year
David Beckham secured a $51 million dividend following a record-breaking year for his business empire, driven by major World Cup 2026 advertising campaigns and partnerships.

David Beckham has pulled a dividend of approximately $51 million from his business empire over the past year, driven by a series of advertising deals surrounding the 2026 World Cup in the US, according to a report in The Guardian. The former Manchester United and England star appeared in a dozen promotional campaigns around the tournament for brands including Lenovo, McDonald's, Bank of America, Verizon, and PepsiCo's Lay's.
The activity surrounding the World Cup contributed to a record year for DRJB Holdings, the commercial company centralizing Beckham's brand business. Revenues surged by about 20% to $110.5 million, compared to $92.3 million in 2024. Pre-tax profit also climbed to a record $65.7 million, a 46% increase from the previous year.
Business Growth and Brand Partnerships
The company, which consists of three business arms headed by DB Ventures—responsible for most partnerships with brands like Hugo Boss—distributed a $51.1 million dividend to shareholders over the past year. Beckham, who retired from professional football in 2013 and entered the UK billionaire's list this year alongside his wife Victoria, sold a 55% stake in his business to US firm Authentic Brands in 2022 for £200 million, meaning he is entitled to 45% of the total dividend distribution.
"Beckham remains one of the strongest global brands in the worlds of sports, lifestyle, and entertainment," noted Corey Salter, Chief Entertainment Officer at Authentic Brands.
British company registry documents reveal that an additional special dividend of $61.6 million was also distributed this year, ultimately allowing Beckham to pocket roughly $51 million. Even before the World Cup kicked off, the company secured numerous deals, including a multi-year agreement with Bank of America making Beckham a global sports program ambassador.
Future Outlook and Ventures
The 51-year-old star also launched men's fashion collections for Hugo Boss, a signature eyewear line for Safilo, and a specially designed football boot with Adidas in the Predator series. A new agreement was also signed to produce the show "Beckham & Friends Live" for Paramount+, broadcast alongside Champions League matches, alongside appearances in a Stella Artois beer campaign featuring actor Theo James.
DRJB Holdings is jointly owned by Authentic Brands and Footwork Productions, controlled by Beckham himself. Beyond his brand operations, Beckham also serves as an investor in other firms, including the supplement company IM8, which he founded in 2024, and the honey snack company BeeUp.
