In a building with urban renewal potential: how much was a 3-room apartment in Nahariya sold for?

On Zalman Shazar Street in the Ein Sara neighborhood in southern Nahariya, a 3-room apartment of 68 square meters was sold for 1.05 million shekels. The apartment is on the first floor out of seven and has no balcony, parking, or storage room. The building was built in the 80s and has an elevator. The complex where the building is located is expected to be part of a future Pinui-Binui (urban renewal) project, but the process has not yet begun.

The marketing price of the apartment was 1.05 million shekels and it was on the market for about five months.

The sellers inherited the apartment and the buyer is a young investor who recently finished his army service and this is the first property he is purchasing.

"Gotten used to the security situation"

Anna Mirkin from RE/MAX Halutzim Nahariya, who represented the sellers in the deal, says: "This is a very sought-after neighborhood in the city, close to the first entrance to the city and close to the mall, the promenade, and the commercial center. The population here is very diverse and many families live here.

In Nahariya, there is currently activity and quite a few deals are being closed. It usually comes in waves and currently there is activity. People have gotten used to the security situation and have returned to the market. There is a decrease in activity, as in the whole country, but in the city itself, it is not significant at the moment.

There are also quite a few investors currently coming to the city from the center. People with financial capabilities who want to take advantage of the opportunities that currently exist in the area. Those who know how to identify them profit.

The interest rate cuts may have calmed the buyers a bit, but I don't feel they have an impact on demand. Most of the buyers at the moment are those who sold their house and need to buy, and investors."
