Two young Dabburiya residents aged 19 and 23 have been indicted for shooting at a home during extortion attempts. Police used a drone to track and apprehend them at a scrap yard.

Two young residents of Dabburiya, aged 19 and 23, have been formally indicted on charges of shooting at a residential home amid extortion attempts, following an intensive investigation by the Northern District Police.
The incident took place about a month ago when undercover and uniformed police forces deployed in the village to track down a suspected shooting cell linked to previous violent episodes. During the operation, gunfire was reported, prompting immediate aerial and ground searches, which were soon followed by a civilian report regarding shots fired at a local residence.
Simultaneously, a police drone operator guiding ground forces spotted suspicious movements inside a scrap yard on the outskirts of the village. Officers rushed to the site, apprehending the two suspects inside a structure while one of them was attempting to change clothes.
During a subsequent search of a nearby olive grove, police recovered an electric bicycle and additional items of clothing that matched surveillance footage captured near the targeted home. The Northern District Attorney's Office filed the indictment against the pair, requesting their detention until the end of legal proceedings on charges including discharging a weapon in a residential area, weapons possession, and obstruction of justice.
