The Israeli startup Cymphony has emerged from stealth with $30 million in total funding to secure and manage artificial intelligence (AI) agents within corporate environments. Founded by alumni of the elite Talpiot program, the company aims to help organizations treat AI agents like employees while mitigating corporate security risks.

Securing AI Agents in the Enterprise

Cymphony develops a security and management platform that controls how both human employees and AI agents access corporate data and systems. The platform maps all users and AI entities, allowing security teams to understand what information they can access and how it might impact the business. According to co-founder and CEO Shay Dekel, the system quickly identifies exposure to sensitive data and provides actionable remediation steps.

"Every person has been multiplied by a thousand," Dekel explained regarding the proliferation of AI agents utilizing excessive permissions to access sensitive documents, engineering blueprints, or patient records.

Significant Funding and Rapid Growth

Cymphony announced the completion of two funding rounds totaling $30 million: a $5 million Seed round led by Sequoia Capital, and a $25 million Series A led by Sequoia Capital and Fin Capital. Founded two years ago by Dekel, CPO Idan Berkovitz, and CTO Adi Gottlieb, the company employs roughly 23 people in Israel and the United States. Cymphony already works with major enterprise clients including Syngenta, KKR, and Cass Information Systems.
