Bitcoin Drops to $82,534 and Ethereum Falls 9.19% in Crypto Market Slump

Leading cryptocurrencies experienced a negative trend this week, led by Bitcoin dropping to $82,534.2 and Ethereum falling by 9.19% to $2,492.49.

In the latest trading week across the digital asset market, leading cryptocurrencies recorded a distinct negative trend. Bitcoin, the dominant currency on the market, traded at $82,534.2, reflecting a weekly decline of 4.38%, while its market capitalization currently stands at $1.66 trillion.

Ethereum, the second-strongest currency in the market, posted an even more significant drop of 9.19% on a weekly basis, settling at $2,492.49, bringing its market cap to $304.17 billion. Binance Coin traded at $739.81 after dropping 4.45% over the week, with a total market capitalization of $98.73 billion.

Particularly notable on the downside was Ripple, which plummeted by 10.05% over the past seven days to a price of $1.3872 and a market cap of $87.35 billion. Meanwhile, stablecoins maintained their expected stability: Tether (USDT) traded around $0.9991 with a minimal decrease of just 0.07% and a market cap of $184.08 billion, whereas USDC traded at $1.0008 with no change on a weekly basis (0.00%) and a market capitalization of $72.99 billion.
