In the last few hours, many Israelis have reported a widespread malfunction in credit card payments. Users experienced difficulties scanning cards and were unable to complete transactions, indicating a large-scale national technical issue.

Media personality and influencer Corrin Gideon also encountered the glitch during a shopping trip. In a story posted to her Instagram page, she shared an article reporting on the malfunction and wrote: "Let me know when it's fixed." According to her, she tried to pay several times at the mall, but the card did not go through.

Automated Banking Services Ltd. (SHVA) stated that it "identified a partial communication malfunction for a short time that affected the ongoing activity of payment systems." According to SHVA, the issue was handled by the company's technical teams, and the system has since returned to routine operation.

As a reminder, a widespread malfunction was recorded at the end of the week in payment applications across Israel, with many users reporting issues with public transport and parking payments. Passengers and drivers were unable to connect to services such as Cello, Pango, and Rav-Kav Online.
