Market competition: Free flight offer for new Rami Levy and Israir credit card holders
The first 10,000 new applicants for the SuperFly credit card will be eligible for a free Israir flight ticket, provided they spend 10,000 shekels within four months. Rami Levy, Israir, and Isracard are launching the new SuperFly credit card. The first 10,000 new customers will be eligible for a free flight ticket to one of dozens of Israir destinations in Europe (excluding London), including port taxes and a trolley bag at no extra cost.
To qualify, customers must make cumulative purchases totaling 10,000 shekels using the card within the first four months of issuance. The card is designed to accumulate points for flights and hotels, directly competing with El Al’s Fly Card and Max’s SkyMax programs.
Key differences and terms
Unlike the Fly Card, the SuperFly offer applies to round-trip tickets and is valid for six months from the voucher's receipt. While the Fly Card allocates 50,000 seats for its promotion, SuperFly is limited to 10,000 seats on Israir flights. A significant advantage of SuperFly is that the free ticket includes port taxes and a trolley, which are often excluded in competitor promotions.
Following the launch period, new members will receive welcome points: 100 dollars for Classic cardholders and 120 dollars for Premium cardholders (subject to spending 5,000 shekels within the first four months).
Existing customers and partnership structure
Existing Rami Levy credit card customers will be automatically migrated to the new club at no cost, though they will not be eligible for the welcome flight ticket or the initial gift points. The partnership structure sees Rami Levy holding 72% of the club company's shares, Isracard with 18%, and Israir with 10%.
Costs and point accumulation
The cards are Mastercard-branded with monthly fees. The SuperFly Classic card is free for the first year, after which the fee is 17.90 shekels per month. The SuperFly Premium and business cards cost 24.90 shekels per month.
Cardholders accumulate points for Israir flights and vacation packages. Purchases made directly with Israir grant an accelerated accumulation rate of 30%, while foreign currency transactions offer up to 25% acceleration depending on the card tier. Points can be redeemed starting from a single point, but all bookings require a mandatory cash payment component (e.g., 90 dollars for an international round-trip flight).
